I want to thank Meghan for the incredible care and compassion she showed me during my recent hospital stay. Meghan cared for me for three nights in a row while I was very sick with gallbladder issues, and from the very first night, she made a lasting impact. On the first night, I was feeling awful, weak, sweaty, and in a lot of pain. Meghan helped me get cleaned up without hesitation, and more importantly, she was relentless in advocating for my pain to be properly managed. She communicated with the doctors throughout the night until I received the medication I needed. I even told her she was doing too much, but she gently placed her hands on me and said, “Just rest, I’ll take care of everything,” and she truly did. For the next two nights, Meghan started each shift by bringing me fresh gowns and linens, anticipating my needs without asking. Despite having many other patients to care for, she made me feel like I was the only one. Meghan didn’t just treat my symptoms; she treated me. She showed compassion, professionalism, and heart in everything she did. I will never forget how safe and cared for she made me feel.
