As a clinic nurse in the Endeavor Pediatrics clinic, I occasionally have a patient who needs urgent orthopedic care. I have frequently reached out to Megan for assistance with securing prompt care. She has always been accommodating and kind. The parents of our patients are always extremely grateful and thank me. They don't realize that the thanks truly go to Megan.

In her behind-the-scenes role, she is approachable and accommodating. This evidence demonstrates why I enjoy working with Megan, but recently, I was able to step onto the other side of the desk and benefit from her competent and kind care as a patient. I was blessed by her 13 years of experience in this orthopedic specialty. I was under the care of a podiatrist who was at an independent clinic. I was having tremendous pain and was not able to get through to my provider. I walked over to Megan, who was able to get me an appointment that very day.

Dr. K did a thorough assessment, ordered some imaging, and provided me with medication to decrease my pain. I was so grateful. The rest of the treatment plan would depend on the imaging results. I know from my personal work role how insurance companies can cause delay of care because of their requirements for prior authorizations for procedures/imaging/medications, etc. So I was prepared to have to wait but when one imaging appointment had to be cancelled and then a second imaging appointment had to be cancelled, I reached out to Megan. While it is not her role, she graciously assisted in promptly getting those authorizations. It was like she waved a magic wand and I was given the green light to have these studies completed. I breathed a sigh of relief. My relief was thanks to the aid provided by Megan.
