Megan Pearce, BSN, RN

I would like to commend Nurse Megan Pearce for the exceptional care and compassion she provided during our recent ER visit. When we arrived in the ER with my niece, things were already stressful. After the doctor came in and spoke with us, Megan quickly stepped in to begin caring for my niece and starting her IV.

In the middle of this process, I unexpectedly passed out. Without hesitation, Megan caught me, ensuring I was safe, while still maintaining her focus and care for my niece. What stood out the most was her ability to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate in such an unexpected situation. After making sure my niece was taken care of, she personally helped me to another room and checked on me to make sure I was okay. She went above and beyond not just for the patient, but for our entire family.

Megan showed incredible professionalism, quick thinking, and genuine kindness. In a moment that could have easily become chaotic, she handled everything with grace and care. Her actions made a lasting impression on me, and I am so grateful for the way she cared for both my niece and me. She truly embodies what it means to be a nurse, and I believe she is more than deserving of this recognition.
