Megan Palm, BSN, RN, OCN

I wanted to take a moment to share the impact that Megan Palm had on my wife and our entire family throughout her cancer journey. My wife was a patient at the cancer center for a long time and came regularly for treatment. Like many patients, treatment days were not always easy, and she could sometimes be a little cranky or discouraged. However, whenever we knew Megan would be her infusion nurse, we could immediately see a difference.

Megan had a special way of lifting my wife's spirits. Her positive attitude, kindness, and compassionate care always seemed to brighten my wife's mood and make the day a little easier. It was so noticeable that our entire family could tell when Megan had been her nurse. She brought comfort, encouragement, and a sense of peace during a very difficult time in our lives.

This past Tuesday, my wife passed away peacefully while receiving hospice care. During this time of reflection, I wanted to make sure you knew how much Megan meant to us. The care she provided went far beyond administering treatment. She made a genuine difference in my wife's experience and had a lasting impact on our family. Please extend our deepest gratitude to Megan. We will always remember the compassion and positivity she shared with my wife, and we are incredibly thankful for the care she provided.
