Each day Megan was our nurse, she made sure to update us regularly. She was compassionate and kind. Megan not only cared for L, but she made sure to remember our other daughter’s name, school schedule and asked us for regular updates for how things were going at home, even on days she was not L’s nurse. She helped guide me when I developed a clogged duct and yeast infection from pumping.

Megan was sure to ask how things were going, and she was the one that recommended going to follow up with my OB/GYN when I expressed concern. She made a little wall sign for L's room as well and it was perfect for our family. The sign said “L Farm” with a tractor out of this foot print that said “L Deere” and a chicken with his foot print as well.

One day when I was not able to be at the hospital at that time, Megan noticed that L was awake and decided to spend some time holding him, she remembered that it upset me when he was awake and I was not able to be there to give him attention. She did this on a day when she was not L's nurse. She went above and beyond to care for him, as well as me.
