Words cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to the men and women on this floor. I've never been admitted to the hospital like this. I came here beyond anxious, deeply concerned about my health, and very worried about how my family was doing in my absence.

I am the primary caregiver for both my child and my partner, who is also disabled. You guys came in and reminded me that I needed to rest and get well, so that I could go home to them. From cleaning up my trays and tables and the room in general to staying so on top of my medications and reminding me to eat, I felt so pampered. Never in my life have I ever experienced a group of people so genuine and kind.

Without the constant care, kind words, and gentle hands you guys used with me, I am positive I would not have healed so quickly. I also wanted to add something I found inspiring. Every single person took it upon themselves to educate themselves about my rare conditions. Every one of you asked me several questions in an attempt to learn more so that you could provide me and others with similar conditions with more accurate, specialized care.

You all have so much on your plates. It boggled the mind how every one of you maintains such a profound sense of empathy and curiosity. People like you give people like me faith that the people who take care of us truly have our best interests at heart. Being professional/respectful is a part of your job description. The level of empathy and kindness I was given far exceeded anything expected. I can never express the level of gratitude I have for each and every one of you.

From the very bottom of my heart and soul, I thank you. I thank you for the care I was given and for getting me back home.
