This team is more than a group of caregivers; they are a family. A family that lifts each other up, serves their community, and provides extraordinary care every single day.
For one leader, this unit represents more than just a workplace—it is where a nursing journey began in 2013. After years of experience across multiple hospitals, returning here felt like coming home. And what made that homecoming so meaningful was the team. From day one, this team extended kindness, grace, and unwavering support—making a challenging leadership transition feel seamless.
What makes this team special is not just their skill, but their unity. They are a diverse group, bringing together different experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives, yet they function as one, meeting every challenge with strength and collaboration.
Their compassion goes far beyond the bedside. During the holidays, this team came together to adopt children through the Angel Tree program, ensuring families in need experienced the joy of Christmas. During times of community hardship, they quietly stepped up—supporting local food banks and ensuring no one went without.
Within the unit, their teamwork is unmatched. When staffing needs arise, support is immediate. When a teammate is struggling, help is already on the way. No one stands alone here.
And their patients notice. During leader rounding, one message is heard time and time again—that this team works together seamlessly and delivers exceptional care with compassion and excellence.
