Meg stood out to me from the very beginning. Meg was an incredible advocate for my mother, and I trust Meg’s instincts without hesitation. After Mom’s heart cath, Meg could tell right away something wasn’t right. A med was ordered by the doctor, and Meg didn’t feel comfortable administering it, even after confirming with the doctor. She stepped out to talk to the doctor face-to-face to advocate for mom’s safety. That spoke volumes.

After mom continued to decline and went into cardiac arrest, her compassion didn’t stop. After getting mom back, she went out of her way to find me and check on me multiple times. Later in our hospital stay, Mom went back to the IR. Meg happened to be working. She came back to find my family and me to let us know she continues to think and pray for us. That moment meant so much to me.

God truly placed incredible nurses in my mother’s care, and Meg was the one who stood out. Meg’s advocacy, compassion, and genuine care for my mother and our family made an unforgettable impact during the most terrifying time of our lives. We will always be grateful to you, Meg. Thank you!!
