We are nearing 2 years into this very difficult battle for my son, and having had someone like Nurse May care for my son since July 2023 has been a great blessing. She has treated us like family, and I really sensed her sincerity and concern since the beginning. She has gone above and beyond her duties in seeing how she can support our family in this journey. Our hospital stays had been less stressful, having had such a lovely presence around. For every port access, I have always tried to look for her, hoping she was available at the time, as she has always made every port access as uneventful as possible for my child. For a mother whose heart had been broken so often in this cancer treatment, I am extremely grateful to have had Nurse May in our lives.
