First and foremost, I would like to start by saying, thank you to Matt for going over and beyond while taking care of my son. What is a parent’s worst nightmare? Having your child taken to an ICU, with the possibility that they might not make it. Add in the hormone shift of birth and the constant bad news every time you call or check in on the baby, and the stress of reality and the situation starts to weigh heavily on you.

Matt had my baby for a large portion of his stay and not only went over and beyond to take care of him, but he also went over and beyond to make sure I was well informed of not only the bad news, but of the good news and that my mind was at ease. He even went out of his way to call me with good news and updates on how the baby was doing when I wasn’t able to be physically present.
