Mati didn’t just provide medical care; she gave us confidence, comfort, and the support we so desperately needed.
After five years of infertility, we were overjoyed to welcome our miracle baby, W. However, our joy quickly turned to fear when we noticed what looked like burns or a severe skin rash on her delicate newborn skin. W was rushed to the NICU, and while the doctors worked tirelessly to find answers, we found ourselves overwhelmed with worry and emotions.

Enter Mati, a nurse who not only cared for W but also became our source of strength, reassurance, and hope. From the very beginning, Mati went above and beyond for our daughter and for us as new parents. She was incredibly hands-on, finding innovative ways to help W feed and heal, all while keeping us informed and encouraged. Each time we visited, Mati greeted us with a warm smile that instantly put us at ease. Her compassion and dedication were constant. She treated W with the gentlest care, ensuring she was comfortable, nurtured, and thriving. But what truly set Mati apart was the way she cared for us, too.

As first-time parents navigating an unexpected and frightening situation, we often felt lost. Mati took the time to teach us everything from feeding and burping to recognizing W’s cues, all with patience, kindness, and encouragement. That week in the NICU was one of the hardest of our lives, but knowing W was in Mati’s hands allowed me to focus on my own recovery from my C-section. And when the long-awaited moment came for us to finally hold our baby, Mati stood by our side, guiding us every step of the way. Mati didn’t just provide medical care; she gave us confidence, comfort, and the support we so desperately needed. She embodies everything a nurse should be: skilled, compassionate, and wholeheartedly dedicated to her patients and their families. We cannot thank her enough for the role she played in our journey.
