Mary Stare, you will be missed. Your smile and energy are, and have always been, contagious over the years. Your ability to see the positive in everything is a true testament to your leadership and to you as a person. I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for the department of nursing through the years, as well as for the capacity management center. Your willingness to always want to do the right thing and provide support to everyone and anyone who needs it is a gift.

Mary, you have been an immense support to so many of us, and we thank you. Your common sense and fresh perspective in tackling anything were always so refreshing and appreciated. Thank you for your unwavering commitment over the years, your loyalty, passion, expertise, and for being YOU.  You are one of the kindest people I know, and I (we) wish you the very best in all of your new endeavors with your family and friends. You have worked so hard, Mary, so this time is for you; go and enjoy and relax because you deserve it.  

We will miss you, and please know that you have left an impact on all of us, and we will carry that forward in the “Mary Stare” way.
