This is not one particular story, but is a reflection of my entire experience while under Mary Emma's care during my hospital stay. Whenever she was providing medical care, Mary Emma was always professional but extremely kind and caring. She always responded quickly whenever I called and cheerfully provided whatever I needed. Not only did Mary Emma respond when I called, but she also checked on me frequently. At other times, she just asked if I wanted anything and to make sure I was comfortable. Mary Emma was very knowledgeable and provided thorough, clear answers to my questions with patience and an obvious desire to make sure I understood completely. I am convinced that her explanations of what to expect during one medical procedure enabled me to face that test calmly and without anxiety. I have had good experiences during other hospital stays, but by her actions, Mary Emma went above and beyond to express a true interest and concern for my welfare.
