I had the privilege of meeting and being helped by a GYN nurse. She introduced herself as Marlene German and asked if I was in need of assistance. I can honestly say she set the bar high for what great nursing should be, therefore I believe and know that she should be recognized. She showed incredible compassion, warmth, flexibility and a professionalism that made things easier for me in finding the department and to recommend family and friends to become Metropolitan patients.

Marlene German, RN has a tremendous respect for patients that truly stands out. She was patient, kind, and willing to listen despite my language barrier. She went above and beyond to make sure I made it to my appointment. She didn't only explain how to get to my destination, she also took her time and walked me to where I needed to be.

Marlene is the kind of nurse who makes a difference every second of the day. In my opinion, her devotion and professionalism to the patients in this facility are outstanding. We should have more nurses like her who are willing to genuinely help and work with patients. I’m so grateful to have found her while wandering the hallways.
