A patient was admitted during the night, who was believed to be homeless, who presented to the floor in layers and layers of clothes saturated with urine. This patient was being admitted with a fractured hip and scheduled to have surgery in the morning. Marissa took it upon herself to take this patient's heavily soiled clothing to the laundromat after working a long 12-hour night shift to clean them so that he would have clean clothes at discharge. This act of kindness and compassion is one that this patient and the team will never forget. She is awesome!
