While getting a report on my section, the previous nurse was starting a blood transfusion, and I was getting a new admission from the ER. Marisol came up to me and said she was going to take the new admission so that I could focus on giving the blood.

Throughout administering the blood transfusion, Marisol checked on me and my patient to see if there was anything I needed or she could help with. Most people would not take on more work to ease the burden of another. Marisol is an amazing nurse who puts the patients first, even if they are not hers.
