She has a heart of gold and cares deeply.
Marina is honestly an angel on earth for our son. She goes above and beyond in all that she does for him. We are so grateful for her every day. My son has many health issues, and from day one, she saw him and she treated him with such love and compassion. She advocates for him every day to make sure he is getting what he needs to succeed.
He got sick this year at school, and she helped protect his dignity and not draw attention to him to embarrass him in a room full of 40-plus kids, and got him out of there and all cleaned up with grace. He had a choking episode as well this year, and she acted so fast and kept him so calm through the experience. When he was scared several times this year, she was there to support him and help him through it.
My son struggles with eating and gaining weight, and she found encouraging ways to help him get through meal times. She advocates for him to be able to have peaceful environments for mealtimes. My son lost his hearing aid at school, and she searched nonstop for it and enlisted the school and aids, and many others to help. She was able to find it for him with everyone's help. She continues to advocate for school, with his medical care and anything that arises, she is always there with open arms for him.
My son adores her, and she has built such an incredible relationship with both him and our family. I have never met a more caring nurse ever. My son was struggling with writing, and she went out and bought him special markers to help him write. When we were struggling to find a hearing doctor, she helped me find different places in our area that would help.
The list of extraordinary things she does daily goes on forever. She truly has so much heart in her job. If it wasn't for her, my son wouldn't be excelling in kindergarten as much as he is. She has so much patience with him and really helps him. She brings so much good out in him, always encouraging him and cheering him on. She has a heart of gold and cares deeply. We can't thank her enough. To us and our son, she feels like family, and this is such a beautiful gift to have her. I have peace of mind every day and trust that when I'm not with him, he has an amazing and loving nurse to help care for and protect him.
