My husband has a neurological disability that limits his circulation in his lower legs. Over the span of the last two years, he has injured his legs with a wound on his ankle. Last year, the wound was on the right leg, and this year he got another wound on the left side. Due to his poor circulation, these wounds got deeper and larger and were not healing. Our primary care physician referred him to the wound clinic. Since I first went there, the nursing staff has been extraordinary. It has been hard to choose one nurse because they have all been personable, knowledgeable, and kind.

Marie Paul was our first nurse, who developed a bond with us right away. Whenever we come in, if she is there, she stops by to say hello. They explain everything they are doing and consistently gauge his needs. For us, the road to healing these wounds is long, and the staff has been so sympathetic to this. The front desk greets you with a smile, and the doctors we have had there are fantastic. It is hard to choose one nurse because they are all great, and we appreciate that they have been there for my husband. As his wife, I love to chat, and they answer all of our questions.
