Marisela was awesome. She demonstrated a level of patient care far above that of other nurses in the following area: extremely knowledgeable about all the issues I was having. Patience in explaining technical things to me in a way I could understand. Ability to engage in conversation with me to establish a relationship of trust. She seems able to establish that relationship within only a few minutes of meeting someone. Always projecting confidence in what she knew to be fact, and humble enough to indicate when she wasn't sure, and diligent to research and expand her knowledge to help me understand events. Fierce scheduler of testing. She was able to get me into the MRI and CT in advance of critical doctor appointments. Excellent leverage of resources available to her. I observed her effectively leverage her charge when I wanted to go to the hospital prematurely. When she was super busy, she enlisted other nurses to help me get a much-needed shower, for which I was extremely grateful. She projects such a high level of credibility that it's easy to feel comfortable in her care. Extremely effective in convincing me of what I should do. I'm told I can be a bit stubborn. She was able to connect with my decision-making framework and get me to change my mind when my decision was less optimal. Best nurse I've ever experienced in my 65 years so far.
