During maternity visits, a patient asked whether the birth of her baby could be webcast to Iraq where her husband was stationed. Maria was instramental in bringing her request forward, obtaining necessary consent and dealing with the details that allowed the birth to be witnessed by the patient's husband over 6,000 miles away.
