Maria is consistently a valuable support to the nursing team. They are always willing to lend a helping hand, and their depth of knowledge makes them a very reliable resource whenever guidance is needed. Despite their many contributions to the team and the organization, they remain humble and never seek recognition for their work. Maria's dedication, kindness, and quiet leadership make a meaningful difference every day. I remember a time when Maria had a patient who was having a very difficult day in the infusion suite, and they asked the patient what their favorite kind of food was. Maria discreetly arranged for the patient and their family to go out to eat at a nearby restaurant that served the patient’s favorite meal. Maria consistently goes out of their way to make our patients feel special and to make sure our team is equally supported!
