During my recent visit to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, I had the privilege of being cared for by Nurse Marc Nixson Cao in the Medical Surgical department. From the very beginning, he showed not just medical professionalism, but also genuine kindness and patience. One small moment stood out to me—when I was feeling nervous before a procedure, Nurse Marc noticed and calmly talked me through each step, making sure I felt safe and understood what was happening. He even cracked a gentle joke that made me smile in the middle of my stress. Throughout my stay, he checked on me regularly without me needing to ask, and he always treated me with respect. It’s clear that Nurse Marc takes his role seriously and puts his patients’ comfort and wellbeing first. He is a true example of what excellent healthcare should feel like, and I’m truly grateful for his care.
