I am writing this letter with deep gratitude and admiration to nominate Manoj for the DAISY Award. It is difficult to put into words the impact this nurse has had, not only on my dad’s health journey, but on his heart and peace of mind during one of the most challenging times of his life.
From the very first moment, Manoj treated him not just as a patient, but as a human being who needed compassion, reassurance, and dignity. Their kindness was constant, their patience endless, and their presence incredibly comforting. In moments of fear, pain, and uncertainty, Manoj was always there with a calm voice, a gentle smile, and genuine concern that went far beyond job responsibilities.
