Magnolia Tarriela, RN

I recently had cataract surgery on each of my eyes. I had Magnolia Tarriela, RN as my nurse both times. She showed exemplary clinical skill in tending to my needs. Magnolia Tarriela, RN took my temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and gave me a Covid Test. She allayed my fears the first time around when my blood pressure was on the higher side due to my nerves. She reassured me that I would be fine. She snapped all the snaps on my hospital gown, put all my belongings in a locker, and made sure I had warm blankets. She then proceeded to put an IV in my hand which was followed by several rounds of eye drops. She explained what they were for as she was putting them in. While all this was being done, she showed great compassion toward me and smiled and laughed throughout the entire time she was conversing with me. The warmth of her mannerisms, the dedication she has toward her career as a Registered Nurse, and the expertise she displayed in carrying out her nursing duties are the reasons why I want to nominate Magnolia Tarriela, RN for the DAISY Award. She is an Extraordinary Nurse and is truly deserving of the award!!!
