When Maegan is on shift, my sister is always clean, comfortable, and well cared for.
Nomination 1: Maegan has been such a blessing. She has taken excellent care of my sister during her extended stay in the MICU. When Maegan is on shift, my sister is always clean, comfortable, and well cared for. She does an excellent job communicating with the family and clarifying our understanding of the medical challenges my sister faces. She also listens to our concerns and helps us communicate more effectively with the medical team. Finally, she's a problem solver and reaches out proactively to the medical staff when she sees something that concerns her. What a treasure and a truly wonderful nurse.

Nomination 2: Maegan was my brother's nurse when we decided to make him comfortable and allow him to go to heaven. Maegan and the nurse she was training E took time from their day to answer all our questions and provide us with comfort. They removed all extra stuff and cleaned his face and mouth. They got us tissues and hugged us when we cried. They made sure that not only he was comfortable, but we were too. Maegan stayed with us while the pastor prayed over my brother and provided us with love and support. One of them was always in the room until my brother passed from this world into the next. The world needs more nurses like Maegan. I’m glad to see she is training the next generation of nurses.

Nomination 3: My uncle passed away, and Maegan was his nurse. Maegan was kind, compassionate, and sensitive to us in this vulnerable situation. Maegan and the nurse she was training, E, helped clean my uncle and provide him with medication to make sure he didn’t suffer. They got pastor M to pray with us. They answered our questions and stayed by our side through the whole process. I am thankful Maegan and E were his nurses on this unfortunate day. They really care for their patients and their families. Thank you, Maegan, and E. We are eternally grateful.
