Madisyn has gone above and beyond for my family and me. I’ve had two separate stays at JCMC in the last two months. Just like J. Patrick Barnes, I was also admitted for an autoimmune disease. Over that period of time, Madisyn’s professionalism, level of care, and warm demeanor have been consistent traits.

She held my hand as I cried, made me laugh, and comforted me through one of the most difficult times in my life. JCMC would not only be better if there were more nurses like her, but the world would be better with more people like her. As I stated before, Madisyn represents what it means to be a caregiver and health care professional.

Her professionalism, level of care, and warm-hearted personality allow her to thrive. She has been a light through one of the hardest, darkest periods of my life. She made me laugh, comforted me when I cried, and offered amazing care. Others pale in comparison to her as a nurse. JCMC not only needs more nurses like her, but we need more people like her in everyday life.
