Madison Jones, BSN, RN

Last month, our mother entered the hospital and then the hospice. She had been declining for quite a while. We (her three children) have loved and cared for her, with the goal of keeping her at home.

Madison was her nurse for three shifts, and it makes me cry to think of how well she loved and cared for her. She spoke to her so cheerfully and preciously, and went beyond the necessities in the care she gave. She treated her like we do. When she was moved to hospice, she took her with us, leaned over and hugged her and then us.

Madison was not only an incredibly qualified nurse in the medical care she gave, but the most genuinely loving and caring individual I have ever met in the medical field. She added an unexpected joy and beauty to our mother’s last days.
