She was able to bring my pain level down to a 2, allowing me to be able to sleep comfortably for the first time in days.
I have been ill since November 2024. I have spent more than 120 days under the roof of a hospital in the last 6 months. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately by Madi. She had a warm, welcoming smile with an energetic attitude. She made me feel comfortable immediately. You could imagine I was not happy knowing I was being admitted again after all of my stays in the last 6 months. Madi then sat down with me to review my history and address my concerns. She went in depth with her questioning and genuinely seemed concerned with my health and had a plan to keep me comfortable during my stay. Madi not only met, but exceeded my expectations. She devised a pain management schedule that worked flawlessly. She was able to bring my pain level down to a 2, allowing me to be able to sleep comfortably for the first time in days. Madi also ensured I had everything else I needed during my stay, including toiletries and towels. While Madi was on shift, she checked in on me every two hours or less, ensuring I didn't need anything. Every interaction with Madi, she always had a smile as big as Texas and had direct eye contact with me, so I knew she was listening and cared for me as a patient. It was easy to pick out Madi as a person who is compassionate and loves her career. On a scale of 1-5, Madi is a 10. She deserved a huge pat on the back. Thank you, Madi, for your excellent nursing, your contagious smile, and your outgoing attitude.
