Madi had been caring for a patient who was developmentally delayed, who needed a CT scan done, and the patient was so anxious about having the scan done. Madi comforted her and made the CT sound fun. She told the patient she was going to take her on a field trip of the hospital to a cool bubble and that they would inject glitter (IV contrast) into her veins so when they put her in the bubble, they could see all the glitter light up. The patient was excited to get to do this, but more importantly, her fears were gone. She wrote Madi a note telling her thank you and that she loved Madi. This is just one of the many examples of the kind heart Madi has, and she is going above and beyond for our patients.
