Macy went above and beyond for a cancer patient transitioning to hospice care.
Her patient (one who was beloved on the unit for their kindness) was a homeless individual. They were living out of a friend's motel room, had lost all of their belongings, and were a difficult case for the social worker. They were eventually placed on hospice because their treatment options were not covered.
