I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care I received from Macey, RN, during my recent stay.

Upon my arrival after surgery, Macey greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. She immediately noticed an issue with my bed and promptly ordered a replacement. To prepare for its delivery, Macey and other staff carefully moved me into a chair, paying close attention to my vitals and overall well-being. When the new bed arrived, Macey continued to monitor my vitals and manage my medication and meals to ensure I was ready for the move.

While I understand that these tasks are part of a registered nurse's daily responsibilities and my surgeon’s care plan, Macey's approach truly stood out. Throughout the several hours I spent in the chair waiting for my blood pressure to stabilize, she consistently expressed joy, confidence, and a touch of humor with every interaction. This level of nursing excellence significantly reduced any anxiety I might have experienced in my post-surgery state.

The following day, Macey continued to demonstrate the same high level of care and concern for everything that had occurred the previous day and overnight. When I was officially discharged, she expressed genuine excitement for my departure home.
