RN Lyric was truly an angel on earth during a difficult time in our lives. I, as a healthcare professional, had given up all hope on our healthcare system and was equally unsatisfied with our last hospitalization. RN Lyric entered the room with the brightest smile and the most pleasant disposition I had encountered in a long time. Her presence, her tone, her body language said what her actions proved. She is dedicated to her profession, she is compassionate, and she truly cares about her patients. Lyric upholds the Advocate mission statement down to the core. Lyric is the true representation of an Advocate Professional and a human being. Yes, a human being.  Something we don't see anymore -  human compassion or acceptable empathy, especially in the healthcare system. The fact that she gave me hope when all was lost is a testimony to her as a nurse. Lyric is not only a DAISY, she is a Rose. She has the Golden touch; she is a breath of fresh air; she is the light that shines when the dark is present; she is the Future of what nursing should be. She is nursing excellence! Lyric displayed the representation of the leadership that I have always experienced on 4EW. L., floor manager, leads with grace, excellence, and a mission to ensure all of her patients receive the ideal patient experience and of stars.
