Lynda is a dedicated nurse in our department. Oftentimes, no one sees the behind-the-scenes work necessary for the department to run. She is diligent in responding to emails and making sure the patients in our department have what they need to receive a telemonitoring device. She is one of the few nurses in the department who is fluent in both Epic and HCHB and able to review new patient referrals, orders, assign devices, and assure delivery. This is all done on the sidelines while she is caring for 100+ patients daily and ensures the proper information/abnormal findings get to the physician, skilled nurse, case manager, or clinical managers. She truly is all in when it comes to the full stream of patient care from referral to discharge and retrieval of the device back to the warehouse. I am pleased to work alongside her and appreciate the generosity she shows to both patients and our department. She cares 150% for patients every day.
