Lucie is not only an exceptional nurse, but she also knows how to relate to every patient. She looks for ways in which she can connect with them personally. She takes the time to talk to the patient and cheer them up when they are down. She is very good at consoling.

My 94-year-old dad was here for rehab. He did not do very well and knew he was not going to go home, and was devastated. Lucie knew exactly what he needed to help cheer him up. At night, when my dad would not sleep, Lucie would not just bring him to the nurse's station to sit next to her but would provide entertainment with a movie on her own phone. She would even sing songs with him. She obviously cares for the residents as if they were her own family members.
