Thank you for being there when I'm hurting or sick. Thank you for being a soldier on the front line of the fight. No one made you choose this. You chose this because you are among those who want to help.
I want to recognize or give commendation to your dialysis nurse, Lowel Barinuevo.
Thank you for what you do each day and every day. Thank you for being there when I'm hurting or sick. Thank you for being a soldier on the front line of the fight. No one made you choose this. You chose this because you are among those who want to help.
Thank you, Nurse Lowel, for always reminding me to be strong and always keeping me happy every time we talk each day when I go to the HD clinic. Thank you for handling me as your patient; you always give me a wonderful and inspirational story.
And I feel so important, and I’m fighting for being a dialysis patient because the last time you saw me, I was very sad, and I don’t talk to the people around me. Then you found a solution on how to approach me and how to manage my problem. You asked me how I was, but I was not responding. Then you shared some inspirational quotes or some motivational Bible verse, and you said, “Remember the Lord will go with you, and He will never leave you or abandon you.”
I always remember that verse every time I feel sad, and when I was admitted to the Lung Center. Thank you for everything, Nurse Lowel. I will not forget how you motivate me. I always tell my siblings what you have done, and as I compare your service, how you care for me, and clean my permcath.
And I miss that when I am admitted to other hospitals because in public hospitals they don’t have good service like when I was in the Lung Center of the Philippines. I’m always crying because I miss the care, the good service, and our bonding every time you handle me.
Thank you again, Nurse Lowel. Thank you for being an excellent, hardworking, and superhero nurse at Westlake Medical Center. You deserve all the recognition.
