Lori Weishaar, RN

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Lori Weishaar. She has been with Mosaic for almost 40 years. Lori consistently goes above and beyond for caregivers and patients. She always looks out for patients' best interests and has a way of making them feel comfortable at the doctor's office. She never hesitates to step up, cover nurses in the clinic, or take on a task to help the day run more smoothly. Lori leads the clinic lead nurse meetings and is a valuable resource for nurses in all clinics. She serves on multiple committees and workgroups and does an outstanding job representing nurses and clinics in these meetings. Lori is a preceptor who helps train new nurses in the clinic and makes their experience impactful. She is a pediatric nurse at heart but never hesitates to help on the internal medicine side of the clinic in the lab when they are short-staffed. I want to give her kudos for her hard work and dedication.

I am a kidney transplant coordinator at CMH. I work closely with your nurse, Lori Weishaar, caring for a mutual transplant recipient. I just wanted to pass along my gratitude for Lori. She is always willing to help our mutual patient and goes above and beyond to ensure [the patient] gets the best care. She is also so patient and kind with the family; they really trust her, and after working with this patient for several years, that trust is hard to earn. I continually thank Lori for her help with tasks, but sometimes that doesn't feel like enough for the work she does. I wanted to reach out so you know what a great nurse you have!
