I've had many stays at many different hospitals. I've felt extremely unheard in my times of pain before. I was placed with Lori. She was the first nurse to make me feel heard. Lori took care of me mentally and physically and was a healing and helping hand during my stay here. This type of care is something that patients will remember forever. I will never forget her. Lori went on and explained to me and my loved ones how they do not see themself doing anything else but nursing, and I agree, she was born to be a great nurse. Her natural and pure energy is healing. Seeing Lori walk into my room for the day, knowing I'm in her hands, brings immense anxiety off of me, knowing I don't have to beg for help. Lori showed compassion to my son as well as talking to him and including him in on this mother's care, was going out of their way to get him popsicles to make him happy. She made me feel like I could rest here and truly rest. God bless Lori. I thank God that he blessed her with the power of healing through compassion, patience, sympathy, and empathy. Lori is truly amazing.
