Loretta reached out right away, pushed for updates to my treatment, then secured answers plus changes we’d been asking about forever.
During my stay, Loretta showed compassion, respect, and integrity in a way I will never forget. From the start, she came across as warm, despite training someone new plus handling many tasks at once. Instead of brushing us aside, she honored both my husband and me when we felt stressed or unseen.

Rather than hurrying through things, she paid attention to what we said; meanwhile, holding my hand helped calm my fears. Because she spoke openly while doing what she promised, trust formed right away. She didn't simply agree and then walk away; instead, she stepped up, contacted the provider herself, so we could receive clear answers along with effective pain relief. Her tone carried kindness, her manner displayed consideration, while her choices reflected honesty.

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been back in the hospital since my kidney issues decades ago. Now with lung issues, a chest tube, and pain that really never goes away. This time around, poor pain control combined with not feeling listened to wore both my husband and me down. The frustration built up so much that I asked for different nurses two separate times; meanwhile, I worried the pressure might actually make my husband stroke. But then, Loretta entered.

While teaching a new nurse, she still paused to hear our story, and she sat down beside me, gently holding and rubbing my hand so I could speak freely, no interruptions, no looks of doubt, just presence, and shared back with us similar issues happening with her sister in another country to make sure we knew she understood. It was clear we were near the edge. She promised support, not empty words, but real commitment.

Loretta reached out right away, pushed for updates to my treatment, then secured answers plus changes we’d been asking about forever. She ensured my pain management got real attention at last, which nobody before had actually acknowledged. Loretta turned what was becoming one of the worst admissions of my life into something bearable. She made us feel safe, heard, and cared for. She made all the difference.
