The Infusion Department is one of the biggest reasons I wanted this job. You see, Lori Lynn and Dr. Ahmed cared for my father and mom. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. Mom was in chemo at the same time Dad was. Lori may not remember, but I do. She treated me and my mom with love, dignity, and respect during our hardest times. Lori isn’t just a Nurse, she is a Godsend.

My mother has beaten the C word twice, and we lost Dad. My mother comes here 6 minutes from her house for her 6-month check-in, and all she talks about is Lori, and my response is she’s alright, then I get in trouble again. There really aren’t words to express what Lori does for the patients she serves. You see, if you ask her, she is just doing her job, but to the son of a patient, she is much more than that. It is scary, and it is hard times, and she is one of the best in difficult situations. I can tell you there is no way I could do her job. I sure am glad that she can.
