Liudmyla went above and beyond, anticipating her patient's needs and those of his caregivers who would be caring for him on his long journey to Istanbul, and from there, to his home country of Georgia.​

​Liudmyla oversaw the training of the two Georgian physicians, obtained supplies for the flight, reviewed his medications, and followed up with the pharmacy.​

​During all this, she still had time to calm and engage the patient's daughter.​
