I would like to nominate Lisa Suttles for the DAISY Award for the extraordinary and compassionate care she provided to my mother. Her kindness and dedication went far beyond routine nursing responsibilities.

She showed genuine love and concern for my mama, always telling her, “I love you,” which brought my mama great comfort. Even when she wasn’t assigned to that hallway, she made time to check on her regularly, ensuring she felt safe and cared for.

She always made sure she turned on my mama’s gospel music to soothe and uplift her—an act of compassion that demonstrated how deeply she understood my mother’s emotional and spiritual needs. She consistently prioritized my mom’s comfort, treating her with dignity, tenderness, and unwavering attention.

Lisa embodies the true spirit of nursing. Her compassion, dedication, and heartfelt care make her incredibly deserving of the DAISY Award.
