Our special needs daughter, P, after many years of health challenges, ended up being a trach and vent patient. Therefore, whenever she was hospitalized, which was pretty often, it would be in the ICU. From her very 1st ICU hospital stay, Lisa was always one of her nurses. She cared for her as we did at home. 

Sadly, P had a cardiac issue during her last hospital stay. That day Lisa was there; she worked on our daughter with all of the knowledge and compassion any parent would expect. P was stabilized. Unfortunately, when Doctors came to us with an update, it was not what we wanted to hear. Within a week, our Precious Child got her Princess Angel wings. The worst thing we have ever had to endure. Lisa was right there with us during the entire process. She was a source of strength that we needed. After she took great care of P's body, covering her up in one of her favorite blankets, when the funeral picked her up, they said she was covered in the pretty blanket and not the common one usually used by the hospitals. I know that was her.
