My father is in the hospital receiving care at the age of 96. His hearing and memory are not the best, and he can be short on patience, especially when confused about the circumstances. Lisa was patient, kind, caring, and persistent in communicating effectively with Dad. At one point, he was very confused about his medicine, and when he’d receive it, in a patient manner, she let him speak, and she explained the situation calmly and maintained her composure. He was very grateful for the time she took, spoke slowly, calmly, and patiently - effectively and compassionately exercising excellent communication with an impatient elderly patient. She exemplifies empathy, compassion, and respect in a way that makes us feel like she is one of the family. I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver to help our dad during a difficult time.
