She went above and beyond to ensure that my husband was being well taken care of, answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was asking for too much, and explained things in ways that I understood.
My husband was seen in the ER. He was in the most excruciating pain he’s ever had. She came in and right away was able to get him the pain medication he needed. And made him comfortable. She checked on us several times during our stay. During this time, we were being told everything that could be happening with my husband. I was emotional and scared. She comforted me throughout the day, checking on my husband and me. I appreciated her caring attitude, and she was amazing with both of us. She is honestly the best nurse we have ever had. SRMC is very lucky to have Linda as a nurse!

My husband had major surgery last month and has been readmitted twice in the past few weeks, the doctor he had today was very unkind and made us feel like he wasn't listening and told my husband to calm down while he was screaming in pain. I spoke with Linda, his charge nurse, and she was phenomenal. She listened very intently as I explained our situation and expressed my feelings and concerns, spent time explaining certain aspects of his medications and procedures we were worried about, reassured us that he would be taken care of, and got us in touch with the patient advocate. She went above and beyond to ensure that my husband was being well taken care of, answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was asking for too much, and explained things in ways that I understood. Words cannot express how much I truly appreciate her kindness and caring, and from this first meeting, I know she not only cares about her work but also about her patients and the people around her. She deserves all of the praise, awards, raises, bonuses, and everything else in between. She is an extraordinary nurse, and I'm so grateful she was here when we needed them most.
