She was patient and professional throughout my treatment and stay. Renee explained my medication to me and administered it with compassion and love. She paid attention to detail and was always an effective communicator, and demonstrated empathy towards me and my family. Renee has a passion for her career and has a commitment to patient advocacy. I enjoyed my stay and was comfortable discussing my treatment plan with her because she was always available and willing to address any concerns or questions I had. I'm excited to nominate this nurse due to her hard work and dedication to her patients.

As a medical facility, more staff need to model the level of excellence demonstrated by Renee, who has a respect for human dignity, problem-solving skills, experience, and empathy for the patients she serves. As we are all aware, when a person is sick, they can feel vulnerable. However, this nurse's continued commitment and response to positive encouragement and feedback allowed me, as a patient, to heal and become more aware of my individual health and the importance of taking care of it. To say the least, meeting Renee was a life-changing experience for me, particularly through a serious medical issue.
