Words cannot do justice to the excellent care Lilly Schneider has given to my husband. She has gone way beyond her duties with her support, helping to explain what she had to do for him; the thoroughness, kindness, patience, understanding, and compassion are way above 100%. She was trying her best to resolve an issue that arose for my husband's discharge over the weekend. Lilly should be recognized for her many great attributes to Desert View Hospital.

I had 14 consecutive days of infusions at Desert View Hospital. Nurse Lily handled my infusions for half that time. Lily has the ability to both take charge of the situation and be gentle about it in front of a patient. She also has the ability to plan for a patient's needs. When I arrived for my daily infusions, she never failed to have a pillow covered in a large sterile pad, with all the injectables, caps, and equipment set up before I even walked into the room.

If something was missing or she needed some other item, she was fast, buzzing around like a bee, from cabinet to shelf and back to me. She explained things as she went and even tolerated my non-so-technical questions with patience and kindness. Even when changing my whole PICC dressing, she explained as she went and put me entirely at ease, feeling that I was safe in the hands of an expert. Lily always made me feel as if I was her only priority at the moment, never taking her concentration off me. You have a real gem in Lily, and she deserves to be honored for her calm, yet take-charge demeanor.
