Today is my 10th weekly infusion. I have been blessed with kind and capable nurses in each infusion. Yet today, my nurse was exceptional. Not only did she thoroughly and professionally handle my long infusion, but she also did it with a smile and positive attitude. Actually made me laugh. Showed so much compassion and made sure my time here was as comfortable as possible. Also, Lilian really did due diligence in reading all the records and confirming my need for Potassium and Magnesium. She did not just do what was prescribed but went the extra mile to make sure I got what I really needed. In a journey like Breast Cancer, to know you are looked after is so reassuring and uplifting. Lilian is an example of nursing as a vocation, not just a job.

Lilian has been a blessing and goes above and beyond. I have a complicated port, and she is the go-to person for me because she will access it with no problem and no pain. She is so compassionate and caring. She is always careful and gentle when accessing my port. As soon as we get to Infusion, Lilian is the person to call and always tries to be available for me and to help the other nurses. Lilian is a great person and a team worker.
