Liberty has worked at PIH Downey Hospital for 41 years. Liberty has been a hard worker and has had a tremendous impact on her colleagues and patients. She has made lifelong connections with her co-workers, becoming friends and part of their families. She has dedicated her long hours of work to help all the physicians and the many patients she has cared for. She has gone out of her way to assist fellow nurses in other departments, teaching them and sharing her knowledge, drawing on her extensive years in critical care and post-operative care. She's taught nurses how to be the best nurses, caregivers, and people they can be. Liberty has always carried herself with a positive attitude and a kind manner. She has never hesitated to offer her assistance to anyone in need. The physicians who have had the privilege of working with her have always valued her hard work, dedication, and experience in taking care of their post-operative patients. They trust her care and her critical decisions without any hesitation.
