Libby would always go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver the care that my Grandmother was in need of. Libby was a breath of fresh air for my partner and me during such a sad and hard time.
My grandmother was admitted to Dr Grays after a fall during the festive period. She was first placed in the care of the nursing team in Ward 5, after some time she was transferred down to Ward 7. After a few days in the care of the staff in Ward 7 I realised that Staff Nurse Libby would always go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver the care that my Grandmother was in need of. Libby was a breath of fresh air for my partner and me during such a sad and hard time. Libby never failed to give us reassurance that my grandmother was receiving the best care. Sadly in the end my grandmother was given palliative care to which she sadly passed soon after. I would like to thank all the staff members at Dr Grays Ward 5 and 7 and especially to Libby Catto for her professional and caring manner. Nothing was ever a problem to her and not only did she deliver compassionate and professional care to my grandmother, she also offered this to us. Thank you, Libby; you are an asset to the NHS.
