During my stay at Natividad Hospital in Med/Surg 2nd floor, I was blessed to have her as my nurse, and I truly believe she went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, Leslie Lambert made me feel safe, cared for, and respected.

She took the time to care for my medical needs, but also to treat me like a person, not just a patient. She explained every step of my care clearly and patiently, always making sure I understood what was happening and felt comfortable. What stood out most was her compassion. There were moments when I was overwhelmed and anxious, but Leslie always reassured me with kindness, empathy, and genuine concern.

She made me feel like I mattered and that I wasn’t going through this alone. Beyond her professionalism and clinical expertise, it was the little things that made the biggest difference – checking in on me even when she was busy, advocating for my comfort, and showing a level of humanity that turned a difficult experience into something more bearable. It takes a very special kind of person to be a nurse like Leslie Lambert, someone who brings not only skill but also heart into every interaction.

I am truly grateful for the care I received, and I believe Leslie exemplifies everything the DAISY Award represents.
